Walk among the reeds of Gangjin Bay, where narrow waterways wind through the wetland beneath low mountains.
The wetland trail takes you between stands of reeds and open stretches of water. Look across the stems to the dark outline of the hills, then down to the channels between the reed beds. In autumn the reeds turn gold, changing the view along the same path.
Wetlands, bamboo forests, tree-lined roads and green tea fields make Jeollanam-do an easy place to slow down.
