Daehan Dawon Tea Fields

Terraced rows of tea plants climbing the hillsides — the most photographed green landscape in the south.

Rows of tea planted along the contours of the hills turn the slopes into green ribbons. A cedar avenue leads in from the gate, and the path climbs to a lookout where the terraces fall away below; at the bottom, tea houses serve green-tea ice cream and cold brew from the same fields.

Wetlands, bamboo forests, tree-lined roads and green tea fields make Jeollanam-do an easy place to slow down.
